Alex Stephenson (Partner) (Family)

Alex Stephenson has a history and social sciences degree and converted to the law by completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 1996.

She qualified as a solicitor in August 1998 after completing her training contract with Norton Peskett. Alex continued her professional development with Norton Peskett and became a partner in 2003.

Alex is from a farming family and has lived all her life in Suffolk and has very strong roots to the area.

She has over 14 years experience specialising in family law and is an accredited specialist of Resolution in the disciplines of advanced financial provision and domestic abuse. Alex can advise clients in respect of all areas of family disputes, including co-habitation disputes, divorce, financial relief (including pre-nuptial agreements) and children matters.

Alex is a trained collaborative lawyer and a Resolution trained family mediator. Resolution is a national group of lawyers whose aim is to resolve disputes in a conciliatory manner.
