Lisa Simonsen (Partner) (Family)
Originally from Norfolk Lisa was educated at Nottingham University and Nottingham Law School, before qualifying as a solicitor in 1997.
Lisa worked in Norwich before she joined Norton Peskett in October 2004. She became a Partner in 2007.
Lisa practices in all areas of matrimonial and family law including but not limited to the following:-
- Divorce and Civil Partnership
- Financial Disputes including those involving substantial assets, family businesses and pensions
- Public and Private Law Children disputes
- Cohabitation disagreements
- Cases involving domestic abuse
Lisa has a particular specialism in care proceedings, where she acts for both parents and children. She is on the Law Society's Children Panel.
She is a member of Resolution, thereby abiding by their Code of Practice. She is a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer. She is also a Resolution Accredited Specialist, with particular specialism in cases involving children and domestic violence.
Lisa’s committment to supporting children and their families extends to her spare time. She is Trustee and on the Management Committees of two local Charities that assist children and their families.
