 John Fawcett (Assistant Solicitor) (Private Client)

John Fawcett is Head of the firm's Private Client Services Team and clerk to the Lowestoft Board of Charities, continuing more than a century of Norton Peskett's service to the Trustees. John joined Norton Peskett in 2010 having worked previously for a firm of international accountants and a niche Private Client law firm. A specialist solicitor advising on all aspects of Private Client law, John has particular interest in safeguarding vulnerable clients and advising families on estate protection, including long-term-care fees funding. His other areas of specialism include: advising company directors and owners of SMBs and family companies, trusts advice and administration, capital taxes, Will planning drafting and interpretation, lifetime estate planning, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications, law for elder clients and agricultural law issues.

John is a member of numerous national and local organisations and societies, including the Law Society Probate Section, the Institute of Legacy Management and the Agricultural Law Association.
