Julian joined Norton Peskett Solicitors in 1993, and became a partner in 1995. He switched to the law from science, having graduated with a bachelor of science 2.1 honours degree in physics in 1977. In 2000 he was granted higher rights of audience in the criminal courts.

In 2009 Julian completed a two year post graduate diploma in Notarial Practice at the University of Cambridge and was admitted as a Notary Public. In 2016 he was awarded an MA in Classical Studies by the Open University and received a Certificate in Translating in 2018.

Julian now specialises in Employment and Commercial work, including but not limited to:

  • Company and Commercial law

Julian qualified as a Private Pilot in 2003 and has flown a variety of different aircraft. He presently flies a 60 year old de Havilland Chipmunk. His good command of French comes in useful in his Notarial work and he also speaks some Italian.

It is now required that we impose office closures for clients, but please be assured we have a robust business continuity plan that enables us to remote work as though we are still in the office.
