Annette qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 and is a Higher Rights Advocate (Criminal).

Annette is a long standing member of the Crime Team at Norton Peskett having joined the firm in 2003, after working for a number of years in Criminal Litigation Departments in a number of Norwich based firms. Having joined Norton Peskett she then worked as Head of Work type in the Great Yarmouth Office for many years and established a large client base in the Great Yarmouth area. Upon the opening of Norton Peskett’s Norwich office, Annette was thrilled to be asked to be part of the new team now working out of that office and thoroughly enjoys working with an experienced team in that area headed by Rebecca Utton. Annette loves being back in Norwich “where it all began!!”

She attended Thames Valley University, London where she was awarded her LLB (Hons) degree and remained at the same University to complete the Legal Practice Course where she gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with a Distinction.

Annette is always found in Norwich Magistrates’ Court where she spends the majority of her time representing Client’s appearing before the Court in Custody. Annette has huge experience dealing with all types of offences and her experience & expertise is second to none! She has for many years represented Youths appearing in the Youth Court and enjoys the challenges that every case poses. She particularly loves the Advocacy side of her job.
